Reel Customers - Real Testimonials

  • “My hair fall after pregnancy was scary. Within a couple of PRP sessions at Opal, the shedding reduced, and by the third session I could see tiny baby hairs along my hairline. The whole process felt very safe and professional.”

    Ananya Desai, 32

  • “I’ve had PCOS for years and my hair had become thin and flat. PRP at Opal has made a clear difference – my scalp doesn’t show through as much and my ponytail feels thicker again. The team explains everything and the clinic feels luxurious yet clinical.”

    Nikita Shah, 29

  • “Stress and late nights had ruined my hair density. After completing my PRP sessions at Opal, my hair looks fuller, breaks less and even my stylist noticed the change. I love that it’s my own plasma and not some harsh chemical treatment.”

    Rhea Mehta, 37

FAQs

  • Yes. PRP uses your own blood platelets, so the risk of allergy or reaction is extremely low. When done by a qualified doctor in a sterile clinic, it’s considered very safe.

  • We apply a numbing cream on the scalp before starting. Most women feel only mild pinpricks or pressure – it’s uncomfortable at times, but very tolerable and quick.

  • Downtime is minimal. You can go back to work or your day immediately. You may have slight tenderness or redness on the scalp for a day, which settles on its own.

  • After a full course of sessions, results usually last 12–18 months. To maintain thickness and control shedding, we generally suggest a maintenance session once or twice a year.

  • PRP isn’t advised if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have uncontrolled medical conditions, blood or platelet disorders, active scalp infections, or are on strong blood thinners. Our doctor will check all of this in your consultation.
