What Are Exosomes & How Can They Help?

Exosomes = tiny, cell-derived vesicles that carry growth signals.

In hair therapy, lab-prepared exosomes deliver regenerative messages to the scalp and follicles.

Reel Customers - Real Testimonials

  • “I’d been doing PRP for a while and wanted something stronger. Adding exosome therapy at Opal has really improved my hair density – my parting doesn’t look as wide and my ponytail feels thicker. The doctor explains everything clearly and I feel very safe there.”

    Nisha, 34

  • “Post-pregnancy my hair never fully recovered. The exosome sessions, combined with the plan the dermatologist gave me, have reduced my daily hair fall and I’ve seen lots of tiny new hairs along my hairline. I love that it’s all done by a lady dermatologist who genuinely listens.”

    Ankita, 31

  • “I have PCOS and had tried many things. Exosome therapy at Opal was suggested as part of a more intensive plan. It wasn’t a miracle overnight, but over a few months my scalp looks less visible and my hair feels stronger. The women-only clinic environment makes a big difference emotionally too.”

FAQs

  • When using clinical-grade exosome products under dermatological supervision, it is generally considered safe for suitable patients. However, it is still an emerging therapy – long-term data is evolving. We only treat candidates who are medically appropriate and monitor you closely.

  • Not necessarily. For many, exosomes are an add-on or advanced option, not a complete replacement. Our dermatologist may combine them with PRP, nutritional support or approved medications depending on your diagnosis and comfort.

  • We use numbing and/or cooling to minimise discomfort. You’ll feel multiple small pinpricks or pressure, but most women find it quite tolerable and quick.

  • Downtime is usually minimal. Expect some scalp redness or sensitivity for 24–48 hours. Most clients can resume normal routine the next day, avoiding harsh chemical treatments or salon processes for a short time.

  • Typically not. Like other regenerative treatments, exosomes work best as part of a planned series, and often in combination with other therapies. Your dermatologist will suggest the number of sessions based on your scalp condition and goals.

  • It may not be suitable if you have active scalp infections, uncontrolled medical illnesses, certain autoimmune conditions, or are pregnant/breastfeeding. A full medical history review is done before we recommend treatment.
