BODYSCULPTÂ CRYOLIPOLYSIS / FAT FREEZEÂ FAQ
DOES CRYOLIPOLYSIS TREATMENT WORK?
Yes, it works. It is essential to understand that every person is different, so results vary from individual to individual. It's a wise idea to inform yourself on what to expect before the proceeding. You'll be surprised how many people have benefited from the treatment.
IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS EXPENSIVE?
The price of Cryolipolysis fluctuates as it depends on the specification of each patient. We recommend scheduling an appointment in a clinic and talking with a professional about your goals. Please make sure to tell the practitioner about the areas that you are interested in treating.
HOW DOES CRYOLIPOLYSIS WORK?
The primary purpose of Cryolipolysis is to kill fat cells. A growing inflammation moves into a bunch of immune cells into the region of freezing. This results in the death of the fatty cells. Once the fat cells are dead, you start noticing a gradual slimming of the targeted zone within 6 to 12 weeks.
The body absorbs the dead fat cells. Then they're eliminated through the lymphatic system.
HOW LONG DO CRYOLIPOLYSIS'S RESULTS LAST?
The fat cells that are disposed of by the lymphatic system can't come back to the body. But if a person ingests an excess amount of calories, new fat cells can appear, increasing in volume. That's why it's crucial to eat a well-balanced diet and exercise following the treatment.
WHAT ARE CRYOLIPOLYSIS'S ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS
During the CoolSculpting procedure, the skin is no harm, as it's possible to freeze the fat without causing any damage. Some of the prevalent side effects include:
Bruising
Numbness
Temporary redness
Sensitive skin
Pain
All of the above side effects are temporary, and they only affect the treated area.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
This is a common Cryolipolysis FAQ. There are no adverse long-term effects associated with Cryolipolysis. The concept of fat freezing is to specifically target and destroy fat cells and not cause any other damage. It is proven that our skin and fat are affected at different temperatures; therefore you can freeze the fat but not harm the skin. With that said, patients may experience a little bruising and numbness, which tends to last several days.
IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS SAFE?
Yes, it is. We recommend doing the procedure at a top-quality clinic with professionals doing the treatment.
HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME
Cryolipolysis is 100% non-intrusive. This means there are no scalpels, needles, sedation, or anesthetic.
The treatment takes approximately 35 minutes per application. After the proceeding, you can continue with your daily activities as there are no restrictions or limitations.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
The number of sessions required depends on your goal and the number of areas treated. Please note that most patients see a 22% reduction of fat after each session. Make sure to tell the practitioner your primary goal, to determine the best plan for your needs.
DOES CRYOLIPOLYSIS TIGHTEN LOOSE SKIN?
Cryolipolysis is designed to kill fat cells, but unfortunately, will not tighten loose or stretched skin. If you want to harden loose skin, we recommend the proceedings like lipectomies, cavitation, and skin-tightening treatments.
CAN CRYOLIPOLYSIS CURE OBESITY AND CELLULITE?
No. Cryolipolysis is not an invasive treatment, and it is not designed to treat cellulite. This CoolSculpting procedure is used to spot problematic zones of fat for a more toned look.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING CRYOLIPOLYSIS?
Cryolipolysis FAQ – Patients must be older than 18.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
Once you have helped identify the treatment area, your practitioner will place a cool gel pad on it to help protect the skin. A vacuum is then attached to the area, which draws in the fat. As this occurs, you will experience a mild cold sensation, which will gradually drop in temperature to around -9 or -10 degrees Celsius, freezing the fat cells.
At YOUNG21 Clinic, this procedure will last 1 hour, during which time you are able to listen to music, watch a movie and use your mobile while the treatment gets to work.
